Congratulations To The Chamber Member of the Month!
The Batesville Memorial Public Library serves the city of Batesville including Laughery and Adams townships in Ripley County and Ray township in Franklin County. As an Evergreen Indiana Library they can also serve other Evergreen Indiana cardholders. The library, like many other public libraries, offer an array of programs and materials including DVDs, audiobooks, ebooks, and music.
Genealogy research is popular and they provide public computers and free Wi-Fi. Their meeting rooms are in continual use and are available to the public. But just as each community is unique, so is their library. You can check out a ukulele and join their Ukulele Club which meets twice a month. If you are interested in magic you can join their Magic Club and learn the tricks of the trade. They have an extensive Aviation collection named in memory of Jim Mahle as well as the Mary Stewart Center for Entrepreneurship.
And let’s not forget their After Hours concert series featuring local and unique artists. For more information about the Batesville Memorial Library and its upcoming programs you can visit their website at www.ebatesville.com and like them on Facebook.
