Congratulations to Crossman Fire and Safety for being recognized as our December Member of the Month!

William (Bill) and Marge Crossman started Crossman Fire and Safety in 1960. In September of 1979, the business was incorporated when Bill and Marge’s son-in-law and daughter, Dave and Cathy Burns, joined the company. Bill and Marge remained active in the business until their deaths (1985, 2004). The business began in a two car garage located behind the Napoleon Fire House.  As the business grew, it became necessary to move the business into a larger facility. In December of 1991, the Behlmer Hardware Building located on Highway 421 in Napoleon was purchased and renovated.

Today, the company services fire safety equipment in businesses, factories, medical facilities, schools, and government agencies within approximately a 100 mile radius from Napoleon. They sell and service Amerex Portable Fire Extinguishers, Amerex Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Lite Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, and Emergency Eye Wash, Face Wash and Emergency Showers.  Crossman’s also has state licensed educators who can tailor fire safety classes to meet facilities’ requirements. The company maintains a close working relationship with their  vendors and has a reliable support relationship with each of these vendors companies.  This close relationship with their vendors allows them to better serve the needs of their customers.
