We would like to introduce our May Member of the Month, Voldico!
Behind the company’s long history of insurance, it was all started by Owner & CEO, Jerry Vollmer. Jerry started in the insurance business in 1977, selling life insurance. By 1982, he had opened his own independent agency in Osgood, IN, Vollmer Insurance, adding multiple locations over the following 15 years. After selling his book of business to MainSource Financial Group in 2001 and becoming the President & CEO of the Insurance Division for 9 years, Jerry decided to go back out on his own. In 2010, he bought back the insurance division of MainSource Financial Group, hence starting Voldico and was officially formed as an LLC.
Over the years, Voldico has evolved from its original setup of only running operational support for those repurchased agencies to now offering many other support structures for independent insurance agencies. Voldico now provides independent insurance agencies all over the United States with not only operational support but also access to markets, accounting, customer service and customized perpetuation planning. Voldico’s overall goal is to provide independent insurance agencies with the ability to write any business that comes to them, no matter the situation.
