Halcomb Home Center, Inc., a family owned business, has proudly served Southeast Indiana for sixty years. The lumber and building material supplier was founded in 1959 by George and Shirley Halcomb.
Expansion of the business throughout the years includes construction of a larger store building in 1973, followed by the addition of a drive through lumber facility in 1998.
Halcomb Home Center offers a complete line of lumber, building materials, hardware, paint, windows and doors for new construction and existing home improvement needs. A kitchen and bath design center is available along with a full line of flooring and tile.
The company currently employs 20 employees including six employees that have over thirty years of experience with the company.
The Halcomb family appreciates the support of the local community and states that they strive to be more than a small town retailer, they live here, have raised their family here, and will continue to be for the community in the future.
