Development of Best Metal Finishing in Osgood in 2001 to provide internal plating operations. Ohio Rod currently services over 30 different industries worldwide. Top 20 customers have done business with Ohio Rod for an average of 35+ years. Ohio Rod/Best Metal Products currently employs 106 full-time employees. Part of the Elgin Fastener Group which consists of 9 companies across the United States including facilities in Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Wisconsin and Nevada. The Elgin Fastener Group has 600 employees within their respective facilities.
